Introduces 15 key philanthropy vocabulary words through the whole-group 'I Have...Who Has?' card game, then builds on that vocabulary through a read-aloud of The Berenstain Bears Think of Those in Need. Students begin brainstorming local needs in their school and community using sticky notes, building toward their eventual choice of service project.
