Creating a Sustainable Tomorrow, TODAY!

Young people can be philanthropists when they use their 3Ts (time, talent and treasure) to make an impact. This simple activity from our Project Heart Beats series was inspired by a real business and environmental problem, and students are encouraged to come up with solutions using only their time and talents.

Students learn about the problem, explore what companies are already doing, and then use the Design Thinking Process to dream up their own campaigns, events, and solutions.

From social media awareness drives to community collection programs, the ideas students generate here are real, actionable, and entirely within reach. This is environmental stewardship meeting entrepreneurial thinking — and it's a powerful reminder that the next great sustainability solution might come from a classroom just like yours.
