Kindness Matters

There are many ways to be a philanthropist and most of them start with practicing kindness. Use this simple activity from our Project Heart Beats series to brainstorm ways to practice and spread kindness using two of the 3Ts - time and talents.

You never really know what someone else is going through. A small act of kindness — a note, a smile, a moment of patience — can change someone's whole day. This simple but powerful activity invites students to explore what it really means to choose kindness intentionally, and how those choices ripple outward in ways we often don't get to see.
