National Philanthropy Day: Banners of Blessings
Practicing gratitude is an important skill for any philanthropist. Our Banners of Blessings activity helps students think about what it is they are grateful for and why. They can fill out and color their banners to highlight what they are thankful for in their unique and creative ways!
The Banners of Blessings activity gives students a creative, personal way to practice that gratitude: filling in and decorating their own banner with the people, experiences, and gifts they’re most thankful for. Cut them out and hang them around the classroom for a warm, colorful display of appreciation, or send them home to go up on the fridge as a daily reminder. Either way, students carry the habit of thankfulness with them — and that habit has a way of turning into generosity.
