March Kindness: Hoops of Passion

We all have things we're passionate about. How can you use your personal passions to help someone in need? Let's create an impact plan by mapping out four of your passions and you can use them to make a difference!

Everyone has passions — the activities, subjects, and hobbies that light them up and make them feel most alive. Hoops of Passion helps students recognize those passions not just as personal interests but as potential tools of change. Students begin by identifying four passions and reflecting on why each one matters, then zoom in on the one that stands out most and ask the question that drives all great philanthropy: how can I use this to make a difference?

The activity culminates in a full Passion Impact Plan — a concrete outline of goals, actions, and resources that transforms a feeling of enthusiasm into an actual roadmap for giving. By the end, students have done something remarkable: they've connected who they already are to what the world needs, and build a plan that bridges the two. That's not a worksheet. That's a beginning.
